Take the time today to gather and organize each team member's values, strengths, and weaknesses. Use that information to get to know them better—the things they value and the strengths they have. You may also want to review each team member's weaknesses and determine ways you can help them turn into strengths.
In other words, prepare for a performance review to be conducted with each team member and start to schedule meetings from day 26 onwards.
It is recommended that you start the performance reviews with your weakest team members first. This will help you get the problem issues out of the way quicker, and make the rest of the review more rewarding.
