I think that leaders tend to overlook the importance of providing real clarity about what we are doing (are we sharing information, are we brainstorming, are we making a decision, if we are making a decision how are we making that decision, etc.) as a group and how are we expected to participate (what kind of input do you want from us, is it expected/safe for us to disagree, what does respectful disagreement look like, etc.) as individual members.
