In this chapter, we explored some of the third-party applications that may be used to expand and enhance the capabilities of your SCRM. Key points to remember:

  • Not every third-party program will integrate with every SCRM.

  • A third-party application may provide you with valuable benefits even if it does not integrate or fully integrate, with your SCRM. Do not rule these applications out!

  • What constitutes "integration" will vary from app to app and might further vary from SCRM to SCRM, so do your homework in order to avoid not having your expectations met!

In our next (and final) chapter, we will be reviewing the important points that we have covered in the previous chapters. We will discuss the day-to-day maintenance of your SCRM. Finally, we will wrap things up by exploring how to evaluate your return on investment in order to ensure that you are receiving the maximum returns that are possible.
