Managing your SCRM


Much of what you will do regarding the management of your SCRM will be based upon establishing and understanding certain criteria:

  1. Who will be responsible for managing the system? Will there be multiple people, each of whom is in charge of a specific task(s), or will it be one person who is in charge of all tasks?

  2. What activities will be managed and on what schedule will these be performed?

  3. How is each task to be completed?

The last item may be the most important. You will need to learn how to perform each of these tasks, and a part of this is knowing what to expect every time you do so. You will want to test and then adjust every procedure prior to establishing a consistent process for its implementation.

Understanding user issues

A critical place to begin your evaluation will be with your users themselves. What is their perception of the system? Are they having any challenges in using the system? What results, positive or negative, are they seeing? What can we do, and what...
