Working with Knowledge Check Slides

The typical use case of a Quiz is to assess the student's knowledge either at the end of a learning process or at the very beginning.

But you can use Question Slides for other purposes as well. Sometimes, all you need to do is to check and reinforce what the student has just learned right in the middle of a learning module. In such cases, you don't need to grade the questions or to track these interactions using your LMS. All you need is an informal question that challenges the learners and helps them identify the topics needing more attention. This is precisely what Knowledge Check Slides are for.

Knowledge Check Slides work exactly like regular Question Slides. The differences are as follows:

  • Knowledge Check Slides are never graded, though they do have correct and incorrect answers.
  • Knowledge Check Slides are never reported to the LMS. Therefore, they cannot be tracked or otherwise used in any kind of formal assessment activity.
