Adding scorecards to a user's Role Center


Once you have created scorecards through PerformancePoint, they can be added to any user's Role Center so that they can quickly see the KPIs that they are interested in and also track trends. In the following recipe we will show you how to easily do that.

How to do it...

To add a PerformancePoint scorecard to a user's Role Center, follow these steps:

  1. Through the Dynamics AX client, go to the home page so that you are able to see the user's Role Center, and click on the Personalize this page link in the top-right of the page.

  2. When the page goes into edit mode, click on the Add a Web Part link in the area that you would like to add the scorecard to.

  3. From the Web Parts browser, navigate to the PerformancePoint category, and then the PerformancePoint Scorecard web part and click on the Add button.

  4. This will add a PerformancePoint panel to your page. Click on the Click here to open the tool pane link to open up the web part properties so that we can configure...
