Carrying passion naturally into a presentation


We want to tap into our conviction for our topic or the points we want to make so we can be as passionate as we can. People listening are hoping for a speaker both with relevant information and an enthusiastic presentation. Not the "jump up and down" kind of enthusiasm, but instead our passion for the information.

How do we tap into this passion or enthusiasm so we communicate it during a presentation?

Speaking is not extroversion

Often, we think of the gregarious extrovert when we think of presentations and public speaking with passion. Simply because a person gets their energy from outside themselves and in particular from other people, does not suggest that speaking is for the extroverted.

Many conversations on the Internet often bring up celebrities who appear to be more extroverted because we have the association like, "public speaking" is for extroverts. In face these people are often introverts.
