Summary


In this chapter, we had an overview of major future products from the perspective of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016. At the time of writing, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 is already in the market, but 2016 is still the most recent and stable release of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV technology. In addition to the future release of Microsoft Dynamics NAC, we also discussed closely related technologies such as Dynamics 365, which is one of the most talked about and most confusing technologies (in terms of figures) of the Dynamics technology. We also took a look at the new development environment, which can be used to develop vertical solutions, such as extensions with a simple interface.

This concludes all the chapters that were selected to be a part of the book compilation.
