Creating a question


With the different types of posts within the Stream, many of the features, such as attaching a file, use the same steps as the Announcement post. However, posts such as the Question and Assignment posts have additional features. If you are reading this book out of the chapter order, refer to the previous chapter, Sending Your First Announcement for the features that are also found in announcements.

Create questions in the Stream by selecting the Create Question icon in the + icon, as shown in the following screenshot:

There are three fields in a Question post, whereas an Announcement post has only one. Furthermore, the Question post has questions options that affect the type of question and how students interact with each other within the question:

  • Question: This field is where you write your question. It...
