Although this section is listed as the very last option in navigation, it's probably the second most important section in Security & Compliance, next to Permissions. As an administrator, you're unlikely to come here often unless you have specific compliance requirements to report on. If you do, you'll want to drop in here first before exploring other Security & Compliance features.
The Service assurance section includes information that Microsoft has brought together to explain how they preserve security, privacy, and compliance in Office 365 and other services on the Microsoft cloud (for example, Azure). This section is largely to help you find relevant documentation. However, there are a few chores you'll want to get out of the way when you initially configure your tenant.
