Managing Skype for Business users 


Now that we've looked at global settings, let's return to the users under the first heading. The following screenshot shows the userssection with a few items redacted for security:

Managing Skype users 

Looking at the top of the users list, you'll see the usual handy tools to filter and search. Filtering options include: all users, audio only, A/V on or off, high-def A/V, audio conferencing on or off, external access on or off, recording on or off, Skype-to-phone (POTS dialing) on or off, and in cloud or synced. The search box will find users based on either their username or display name. 

Use the checkboxes on the left-hand side to select users. When selecting a user, their settings will appear in the margin along the right-hand side. You may select and edit multiple users; you can't do this across pages, so you may need to increase the page size in the lower-left corner. For this reason, larger organizations will find the web interface completely impractical...
