Editable Grid on mobile devices


Editable grids are supported on mobile devices, which makes editable grids useful because they save users time and data on mobile devices. There are other features that are only supported by mobile devices. The main distinct feature is that Editable Grid is available on the dashboards of mobile devices, which is not available for the web. This makes an editable grid a more powerful feature on mobile devices.

Let's make Active cases view as editable, which is available on mobile device dashboards.

Following are the steps for making an editable grid allow viewing on dashboards for mobile devices:

  1. Go to Settings | Customization, as shown in the following screenshot:

  1. Expand Entity, and select the Case entity. Add an Editable Grid control on Case entity, and also make sure it is available for a phone:
