Summary


In this chapter I wanted to share my experience of searching functional Redmine plugins, as I personally find it quite complicated. Most likely, you won't be able to avoid using plugins as much of the power of Redmine can be found in them. In other words, I wanted you to feel easy finding and installing the plugins that you'll need.

To demonstrate what can be done with plugins we have also reviewed some of them. Of course, we have ignored many interesting, useful, and popular ones. But the goal was not to review such plugins (as otherwise this chapter would be too huge) but to draw your attention to some of them to show what interesting things can be done with others, and so on.

I assume that you have searched for and found plugins, that you will use, and have already chosen and installed a theme, which will be the face of your Redmine installation.
