This one needs little introduction—we've all needed/wanted to create a cinematic style credits sequence before and FCPX makes it easy to do.
1. Open your Titles browser and click on the Credits category, as shown in the following screenshot:
2. Click on the Scrolling title and hit E to append it to the end of your storyline. The title clip is displayed as a purple box, as shown in the following screenshot:
3. Skim through the title. There is some placeholder text, which we've got to change:
4. Highlight the title in your timeline and open your Inspector if it isn't already visible (Command + 4). We see some, but not all, of the parameters that we can tweak for the title. Some options are under the Title tab while others are under the Text tab.
5. Under the Title tab, set the Font and Color parameters to whatever style you deem fit for your film. In this example, we'll choose Times New Roman and keep the color of the font white, as shown in the following...
