Thoughts to contemplate

There are presentation opportunities in business everyday. With the ideas and actions in this chapter, we are now ready to let go of any misconception that being an introvert means your public speaking will be awkward. Instead:

  • How and what you can do to relax more? It is in relaxing about delivering a presentation that our authenticity shines through.

  • Do you acknowledge the smallest a step forward, or focus on things you did not do well? If it is the latter, let that be the next thing you change.

  • Consider starting with what you consider small changes to make for future presentations. First notice how you feel with the changes about your delivery. Then, think about whether feedback from listeners tells you others noticed the change in a positive way. This could be simple, such as "Nice job," which you might not otherwise hear. Then try new actions that cause you to step up to a bigger change. Listen to yourself and others' feedback.
