Transferring master data from SAP ECC to SAP APO

Master data transfer from SAP ECC to SAP APO is done via the Core Interface Framework (CIF). To run the order to cash cycle successfully, you need to create the location and product master data first. In most cases, the client of record is SAP ECC and the data is transferred from ECC to SAP APO. This is applicable for both creating and changing data. Therefore, the new data and the changed data are replicated from ECC to APO using CIF. The following diagram maps each master data element in SAP ECC to its corresponding element in SAP APO. The structure of each of these master data elements is different in each system. During the master data transfer, the core interface maps the data from ECC to APO master data:
