The new Teams view-only experience

MS Teams meetings have a limit of 1,000 interactive users, which means that attendees can experience all features of the meetings such as audio, video, shared content, and more, once enabled in that meeting. This may lead to the following questions for MS Teams users, specifically in the new work culture of remote working:

  • What happens if there are more than 1,000 attendees?
  • Is it a hardcoded limit of 1,000?

Microsoft has addressed these questions by adding a feature called the view-only experience. With this new view-only experience, a Teams meeting can have up to 10,000 attendees. Wow, that's great news!
