Operator options

In this section, you will learn all of the operator options inside the formula property. Each of these operators can be used using any constant or property from the database the formula property is made in. The operators are often used to create formulas that calculate something from input information.

The most beneficial thing about knowing the operator properties is that you can do almost any calculation you want, which might not be available using database view calculations or rollup calculations.

Note

Each operator can be written in different ways using the longhand or shorthand version of the syntax, which is shown in the Help window when the operator is selected.

There are different types of operators that can be used. Some are number focused, some are Boolean focused, and then there is the if operator.
