Tagging your co-workers is a good way of drawing their attention. When you tag a colleague, they receive an email notification and a notification in Yammer.

How to do it...
To tag someone, do the following:
- Go to the Yammer home page.
- Compose a message and mention the person you want to tag by typing @ followed by their name:
- You can also mention an individual or an entire group in the area highlighted in the following screenshot:
