Enabling visibility for search engines

Once a WordPress site is created, we want search engines to index the site and drive traffic, unless it's a private site. You may have heard about optimizing the site for search engines. First, we have to make the site visible for search engines, then we can optimize the content. The default feature allows us to specify whether we want the site to be visible to search engines. Unless the visibility is set properly, optimizations or search-related settings may not work.
