What Does the Cloud Mean for Human Resources?

It may not seem that a technical decision such as adopting the cloud would mean much to the vice president of Human Resources, but the deeper issues that underlie why companies need to move to the Cloud are very relevant to your human resources leadership.

A recent survey by SilkRoad called “What Keeps HR up at Night,” quoted in HR Today1, states that the top issue for 53 percent of talent management professionals is creating an attractive organizational culture that will engage employees. That issue is closely linked to the third-most-important issue (41 percent of all surveyed), which is the ability to attract and recruit the best talent.
