In this chapter, we explored how to implement patching for both workstations and servers. We discussed the importance of using pilot collections to ensure your environment is kept secure before deploying to the wider environment, and also looked at how to monitor your deployments and compliance using reporting and compliance baselines.

In the next chapter, we will have a look at reporting in Configuration Manager and how to create custom reports using Report Builder. We will also look at how to create charts using existing Configuration Manager data.
