Chapter 3. Other Ways to Provision a Virtual Machine

The previous chapter discussed how to create a virtual machine using the Wizard, but no administrator wants to create a virtual machine from scratch every single time. This chapter will cover how to build a template and provision virtual machines from the templates or from physical machines using VMware vCenter Convertor. Guest OS customizations will also be covered so that potential IP conflicts, hostname conflicts, and duplicate SIDs are avoided.
