Summary
Throughout this chapter, we have looked at the fundamental roles of Configuration Manager as the management point and the distribution point. We have looked at the workings of each role, which is beneficial to understand. This remains the most valuable fragment of information when troubleshooting. To think of the functionality provided by these roles, it can be surprising how simple the architecture really is. The HTTP codes that we discussed for the management points are transferable to other roles; however, they are probably most prominent on this role in particular. This is definitely information to remember for multiple troubleshooting purposes.
