This chapter was focused on the considerations for storage security and the techniques at your disposal to address them. We started off by discussing NTFS and SMB security. Next, we looked at ways to protect and secure iSCSI connections. After that, we discussed the benefits of Secure Boot and BitLocker. We wrapped up the chapter with a discussion on backup.
In the next chapter, we'll move from looking at Hyper-V alone and take up the subject of System Center Virtual Machine Manager and its role in protecting your virtual environment's infrastructure.
