AppDNA is a Citrix tool that performs automated analysis of desktop and web applications to test their compatibility with different Windows platforms and web browsers.
It can be useful to accelerate the migration to new versions of the Windows operating system or adopt application virtualization technologies such as XenApp or App-V.
AppDNA includes preconfigured scenarios. For example, you can analyze the compatibility of your applications in case of the adoption of XenDesktop.
AppDNA is a client-server application. The server part is supported on Windows Server 2008 SP2 or later and on Windows 7 or later. In a production environment, Citrix recommends the use of server operating systems.
The client part is supported on all the server platforms, and it is also supported on Windows XP and Windows Vista.
