Chapter 8. Horizon View Clients

Let's quickly take stock of where we have gotten to with deploying our Horizon View environment. So far, we have looked at the architecture and design, performed an installation, built our virtual desktop machines, and configured the View Administrator to prepare the virtual desktop machine for delivery to the end users. However, the question is, "how are we going to connect our endpoint devices to our virtual desktop machine?" This is where the Horizon View Client comes in.

In this chapter, we are going to look at the different options available to an end user in order to allow them to connect to their virtual desktop machines, some of the advantages and disadvantages over the different options, and why it matters which one you choose.
