The VMware vRealize Operations

In this section, we are going to learn how to deploy vRealize Operations, in particular the vRealize Operations Manager, and configure it for high availability. We are then going to integrate the vRealize Operations Manager, also called vROPs Manager, with our on-premise vCenter Server and our vCloud Air environment.

Note

The VMware vRealize Operations Manager is shipped out as an OVA file, and can easily be downloaded from the VMware website for a 60 days trial period. You can download a copy from http://www.vmware.com/products/vrealize-operations/vrops-hol.

But before we go ahead and begin with the installation, let's take a quick look at some of the key components and features of vRealize Operations Manager.
