Chapter 6. Configuring Policies

In this chapter, we are going to spend some time working with one of the crucial parts of XenApp deployment. In this section, we will learn about the policies that are sets of settings that we force on the users' session for better user experience and effective bandwidth utilization, and at the same time, make sure that the enterprise security is in place.

Things we will be doing in this chapter are as follows:

  • Setting up policies

  • Installing the group policy management feature

  • Printing policies

  • Configuring remote assistance

  • Citrix profile management

Once the chapter is completed, you will be able to implement group polices for a better user experience and effective bandwidth management while keeping the enterprise security in place.
