Summary
In this chapter, we have built several virtual desktop machine images that will act as the parent images from which all the virtual desktop machines in the environment will be created.
To build the virtual desktop machines, we outlined a process to follow a process in which you started by creating the virtual hardware containers, installing the guest operating systems, optimizing them to run as Horizon View virtual desktop machines, and then prepared them by creating either templates or snapshots ready to be used to create virtual desktop machines to be delivered to the end users.
In the next chapter, we will configure the View Administrator and create the desktop pools, ready to deliver our virtual desktop machines to our end users, which will allow them to connect and start using the different virtual desktop machines.
