Configuring Remote Assistance including Easy Connect


Remote Assistance in Windows 10 features Easy Connect, which enables connection and control over the password between the invitee and trusted helper. Easy Connect simplifies the entire process through the use of a password. Once the trusting relationship is established between invitee and trusted helper, the password can be removed if the contact files are exchanged.

Using Easy Connect with Remote Assistance

ToconfigureRemote Assistance including the Easy Connect app in your Windows 10 computer, complete the following steps:

  1. Press the Windows key + Rto start theRundialog box.
  2. In theRundialog box, entermsra and press Enter.
  3. In the Windows Remote Assistance wizard, select Invite someone you trust to help you.
  4. On the How do you want to invite trusted helper? page, select Use Easy Connect as shown in Figure 10.13:
