In the previous versions of Horizon, there were still a large number of management tasks and features that were still only available in the View Administrator Console. In this latest release, a lot of these features are now present in the new Horizon Console. These newly added features are listed here:
- Manage persistent disks in a Linked Clone environment
- Manage global policies
- Manage administrator access as well as role-based access
- Manage vCenter Server settings and Connection Server settings
- Manage Linked Clone and View Composer
- Manage Cloud Pod Architecture settings
- The ability to create shortcuts for RDSH published apps and desktops
