Chapter 18: Case Studies

As we mentioned way back in Chapter 1, GCP Cloud Architect Professional, the Google Professional Architect exam involves referring to a certain set of case studies. Around 30% of the exam questions will relate to one or more of these case studies. Although you have access to these case studies before you sit the exam, you will not know which case studies will appear in the exam. However, you will have access to them in the exam, so there is no need to memorize each one! Think of it as Google being nice to us and giving us extra preparation material. During the exam, when you are asked a question about a case study, you will have a split screen and will be able to view the case study and question simultaneously.

We will cover the following topics in the chapter:

  • Understanding how to approach the exam case studies
  • What are we looking for in the case studies?
  • Additional case studies
