Before we do a deep dive into Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, let's have a tour to introduce all of the most important core services. This will help us to understand the overall picture in a much better way. It is important to be familiar with all of the core services, not only for the sake of the exam—as it will also allow you to choose the best fit for your use case. Google divides the services into the following logical groups:
- Computing and hosting services
- Storage services
- Networking services
- Big data services
- Machine learning (ML) services
- Identity services
