We just spent part of the previous chapter looking at some of the built-in tools of Windows Server 2019 for monitoring the performance of your systems. But what if you want to do forecasting of your future performance needs? Forecasting your future needs is critical in any growing environment. You really want to know that your servers are going to run out of CPU or network bandwidth before they run out, not after! I've seen companies that have created their own very complicated forecasting systems only to see most of the system abandoned for a simple spreadsheet and some educated guesses.

System Insights might be able to remove that guesswork for you and replace that spreadsheet in your own organization. Now, wouldn't that make budgeting your next financial year's server purchases easier to justify to your chief financial officer?
