He received his M.S. degree in Technology Management from School of Management, George Mason University, and his M.S. degree in Mathematics with specialization in Operations Research and Statistics from Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He served as the President of a cultural student body at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
