This recipe will review the procedure used to establish a client connection for Horizon View clients configured for the Kiosk Mode authentication.
The following items are required for the test Kiosk Mode authentication:
A Horizon View desktop pool with desktops available for use.
Our Kiosk Clients AD security group (KioskClients) that has been entitled to use the desktop pool configured for this test (Kiosk-Win7).
Console access to the Horizon View clients that we wish to test. For this example, we will be testing a Windows client named Kiosk1 and a Linux client named Kiosk2. Kiosk Mode authentication has already been configured for both of these clients using previous recipes in this chapter.
