Congratulations! You have passed another milestone in reaching the end of this chapter and coming one step closer to the temple that is reserved for the most elite of administrators. We will now embark on a retrospective tour of this chapter in which we have gained some inside knowledge enabling us to manage software on our systems a little more effectively. Beginning with raw RPM files, we were able to see the strength in the management and inventory benefits that they provide, but the annoyance is in having to locate their dependencies. Liking the idea of RPMs, we ventured out to create our own RPM file to distribute and install a Plymouth theme; a theme that we have created to help brand our systems and reinforce our identity.
