The firewall settings

When we begin using a Zabbix proxy in our environment, we need to take care of the data flow and the open ports or firewall rules.

In a non-Zabbix-proxy environment, it is necessary for the Zabbix server to have access to all the hosts monitored at the ports used for data collection. If we have several remote networks, we must provide the necessary firewall rules.

When we begin using a Zabbix proxy, the flow changes and the needs are much smaller. This makes it easier to negotiate with the security personnel. In this case, we only need to ensure that the Zabbix proxy and Zabbix server are able to exchange information through port 10051 TCP on both the sides.

So, the environment can now be envisioned using at least one Zabbix proxy. Always keep the rules to ensure that the Zabbix proxy and Zabbix server can establish communication through port 10051.

Some OSes will enable SELinux, which means security Linux by default. We need to disable it and remember to check the maximum...
