We will need a REST-capable host. As every REST host handles things a little differently, we will use the REST interface of Orchestrator itself, as well as that of vCloud Director (vCD), to showcase the functionality. I'm aware that these are not the best examples; however, these are examples that are more or less easily accessible to readers and will show some of the difficulties that have to be overcome. I have also collected some other Orchestrator-REST integration examples in the See also section of this recipe.
