Basic Orchestrator operations for Orchestrator elements


In this recipe, we will learn how to duplicate, move, and delete workflows, actions, resources, configurations, and packages.

Getting ready

We need at least one workflow to duplicate, move, and then delete it.

How to do it...

We split this recipe into duplicate, move, and delete sections. We will use a workflow for this example; however, this procedure also works on actions, resources, configurations, and packages.

Duplicate

Duplicating an Orchestrator item, such as a workflow, will only duplicate this item, not its associated subelements.

  1. Right-click on the workflow you would like to duplicate and select Duplicate workflow.

  2. The default name of the new workflow is Copy of [original workflow name]. Change the name as needed.

  3. The workflow folder displayed is the same as the folder where the original workflow is located. Click on the displayed folder to change the location.
