Summary

In this chapter, we laid the foundation of the Citrix infrastructure by building out the control layer. You learned how to install Citrix XenApp 7.6 Delivery Controller and configure your first XenApp site. You also installed Citrix License Server 11.12.1 and allocated your licenses for use by the XenApp environment. You finalized the site setup by enrolling a second controller for HA. This allows us to proceed with deploying the access layer, which includes Citrix StoreFront, NetScaler, and NetScaler Gateway in the next few chapters. As we move forward with the implementation, you will start to see how the different components fit in together, and the business value of the XenApp solution will become much more evident. Stay tuned!
