Puppet user groups (PUGs) are local social groups that get together, usually every month, to discuss their Puppet issues and share updates. There are several local PUGs. You can search for your local PUG by visiting https://puppetlabs.com/community/PUG on the Puppet Labs website. My local PUG is PUGS (Puppet User Group of Seattle). Our website is http://www.meetup.com/Seattle-Puppet-Meetup. The format of the PUG meetings usually has a free form, but if you have encountered some problems, you will likely get a chance to ask for help. Often, a round of lightning talks will permit you to take the stage and state your problem to the group. In our group, this tactic has worked very well for some members; a problem that plagued them for days was solved quickly by the combined experience of the group.
