In this section, we are briefly going to touch on the Horizon View Client, as it is an important part of the solution and it's how you connect to your virtual desktop machine.

The Horizon View Client is where the transmitted pixels from your virtual desktop machines are received, decoded, and displayed. There are two distinct types of Horizon View Client, a software-based version that gets installed on the endpoint device and a hardware-based version that uses zero clients with the client running on the Teradici chip.

We will cover the View Client in more detail in Chapter 8, Horizon View Clients.
