The mtr
utility is often used for network troubleshooting. The utility displays the route that network packets take between the Raspberry Pi and another computer. The display is refreshed continuously displaying the time it takes network packets to travel between each device along the route between the two computers. By use mrt
, you can see which devices along the network route are the slowest.
After completing this recipe, you will be able to trace network packets with mrt
.
