VMware vCloud Air - Disaster Recovery is a Recovery as a Service (RaaS) offering, provided by VMware to protect your on-premise workloads that can either be running on a vSphere or a vCloud Director-based platform.

VMware vSphere Replication: VMware vSphere Replication is disaster recovery and protection software that can be integrated with an existing vCenter Server and vSphere Web Client to perform asynchronous replication of virtual machines. It can be integrated with different storage types, such as vSAN (Virtual SAN), traditional SAN, NAS, as well as direct attached storage (DAS).
