Sending multiple reports in one e-mail


If you had sent a few reports after the previous recipe, would your client have been happy with your multiple e-mails? Perhaps not, so in this recipe we see how to schedule multiple reports in one e-mail.

Getting ready

In many cases, business users ask for one e-mail for monthly reports; in such cases, you can include more than one report in the same e-mail. For this recipe, all that you need is an active Service-Now instance, valid credentials, and a role (admin, report admin, or report group).

How to do it...

  1. Open a web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer).

  2. Type the instance URL in the address bar.

  3. Log in to the Service-Now instance using the credentials.

  4. Type the Report in the search bar (left-hand side).

  5. Click on scheduled reports module under reports application, which acts as a repository of all scheduled reports:

  6. Click on Scheduled  Execution  of  Last  Month  Incident  Report and scroll down...
