Preface

Managing mobile devices enrolled in Microsoft Intune via the CM console

CM integrated with Microsoft Intune offers a single-point solution to manage both desktop devices and mobile devices (through Intune). Once a mobile device is enrolled in Intune, it will appear in the CM console and you will be able to get the software inventory of that device as well as executing remote tasks on it like remote lock or remote wipe.

There are four remote tasks we can run from the CM console:

  1. A full wipe to restore the device to its factory settings.

  2. A selective wipe to remove only company data.

  3. A remote lock to help secure a device that might be lost.

  4. Reset the device passcode.
