Summary

In this chapter, we explored various information insights available out of the box in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition and the role played by the Microsoft analytics platform. With the empowerment of Excel, Power BI, Cortana intelligence, Azure, and other tools, it becomes super easy to make informed decisions.

With additional capabilities delivered from modern reports, ER, and financial reporting or management reporting, it becomes a full-suite analytics tool to make information available on time and in the medium of your choice.

Analytics, as a subject, evolves much faster than any other area; hence, we recommend that you always leverage tools and services offered by Microsoft rather than building them, as it increases the agility and accuracy.

In the next chapter, we will focus on end user-related activities, spanning testing and training.
