To avoid any unexpected scenarios regarding your apps, it is recommended that you back up your apps regularly. Therefore, in the worst-case scenario, you can retrieve your application with minimal data loss.
To configure backup for your app, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the App Service you want to back up.
- Under Settings, click on Backup, as shown in the following screenshot:
- When you click on Configure, a new blade will open where you have to specify the following:
- Storage settings: Specify a container in a storage account where the backup will be stored. If you do not have a storage account, you will have to create one.
- Backup schedule: Specify whether you want to run the backup based on a schedule or not. If you enabled scheduling, you will have to specify the following:
